In the American desert southwest (We live in AZ), it gets hot enough to burn the pads of your dogs feet on the sidewalk, hiking trails, etc.  And, for those that use dogs for hunting or take them hiking in rough terrain, a good pair of dog shoes is a gift to man’s best friend!
